Radon testing in residential homes

Radon testing is the only way to tell if a home has levels of radon that are considered dangerous. Radon is a radioactive gas that is odorless and invisible. The National Cancer Institute has concluded that “Long-term exposure to radon can lead to lung cancer.” It is never too late to check your home for radon, but it is also important to test a potential new home for your family.

If the detected levels of radon have been deemed potentially dangerous, your home will need radon mitigation to disperse the gas harmlessly into the atmospher outside your home.
